Andersen EV - Renewable Energy

I participated in Andersen’s Designer of Tomorrow competition, designing a bespoke fascia for their A2 charging units whilst raising awareness of renewable energy.

The design integrates renewable energy through the strategic placement of solar panels within the plan layout. Drawing inspiration from the 'OPERATIVE DESIGN' philosophy, the utilization of the term 'Form' from Andersen's values has been instrumental in crafting a structural marvel. By aligning the extruded timber with the pre-existing geometry of the stainless steel plate, the design not only pays homage to the company but also accentuates a sense of opulence. Emphasizing purity, simplicity, and craftsmanship, the concept employs extrusion techniques and LED strip lighting to elegantly illuminate the innovative intervention.
